Fraudulent Online Ads Claim to Sell Discounted James Avery Artisan Jewelry

James Avery Artisan Jewelry warns that fake social media ads are
appearing in customer feeds throughout Facebook and Instagram this week.
The ads feature original company imagery in an attempt to lead customers
to fraudulent websites offering coupons and deep discounts on James
Avery jewelry.

“Our authentic James Avery designs can only be purchased at
non-discounted prices at James Avery retail stores, select Dillard’s
locations and online at secure sites JamesAvery.com and Dillards.com,”
said James Avery Chief Operating Officer John McCullough.

It is believed that the fraudulent sites are attempting to obtain
personal and credit card information with no intent to ship any jewelry.
The official James Avery website is secure and the web address is
preceded by “https” in the web browser address bar.

“We appreciate our customers’ patience during this time,” said
McCullough. “We urge anyone concerned about the authenticity of a recent
online purchase to contact Customer Service.”
