Intero Continues to Evolve Brokerage Operations With New Executive Leadership Positions

Intero, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary of
HomeServices of America, Inc., is proud to announce that John Thompson,
Intero’s Chief Operating Officer for the previous four years, has taken
on the newly created role of Chief Culture Officer and Joe Brown has
been promoted from Senior Vice President to Chief Operating Officer.

John Thompson, a founder of Intero, also manages the Los Altos office,
one of the highest producing offices in the United States. As part of
the glue that has kept the soul of the company together for the last 16
years, John will use his experience, talent, and sense of humor as the
company’s new Chief Culture Officer. In this new position, John will
manage and evaluate the pulse of the company’s current culture and
develop and implement new ideas to help the culture evolve as Intero
continues to grow.

Joe Brown joined Intero in October of 2015 after a successful stint at
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, where he held numerous management
positions, including President and COO of Bay Area operations. He
quickly put his knowledge and experience to work for Intero and has been
critical to the company’s continued success over the last three years.
In his new role as COO, he will report directly to President & CEO Tom
Tognoli, and will oversee the brokerage operations and management of the
company’s 18 corporate offices.

Senior Vice President, Peninsula Region. These three gentlemen have
embraced their roles and have made a huge impact on Intero. They will
continue to work closely with John and Joe to drive Intero to even
greater heights into the future.
