BRAMPTON, Ontario, June 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Trailcon Leasing Inc. began construction on its second facility in as many months when it broke ground on June 19 in Calgary.
The state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot building will occupy six acres at 7269 – 106 Avenue SE, with the expected completion date being Q2 2019.

Like its sister facility in Edmonton, already under construction, the Calgary facility will feature large, fenced-in yards with truck gates to accommodate about 120 trailers. Other security features include intrusion alarms, door access control, and closed-circuit television. Calgary branch manager Nick Reid will head up the operation, supported by eight shop mechanics, three mobile mechanics, a service manager, operations coordinator, and two administrators.
Calgary Ward 12 Councillor Shane Keating, and David Purcell-Chung, Leader, Development & Planning Advisory Services at The City of Calgary were among the dignitaries attending the ground-breaking ceremony.
